"I don't want to be salse-y"
That's the number one FEAR that I hear most coaches, service providers, or women in business state.
We don't want to be seen inauthentic, or pushy,
And we fear the judgement of friends, family, or the public, when we decide to take a leap in business.
So we don't.
We have these amazing ideas, and we never share.
We stay stuck in 9-5's that pull us away from our family.
We work for businesses that don't care about our health or happiness.
We tackle the tasky to-do's in our business because it makes us feel good,
Yet we never make impact or considerable income.
I want to challenge you.
I want you to take the promise of a better life for yourself and others, and turn it into profit.
The truth is, you are selling.
You are selling a better life.
Happiness, Love, Income, Better Health, The Home of Your Dreams, Less Pain, Less Stress,
You can teach them how to get it.
And you can't put a price tag on that solution.
I don't know how to monetize that moment when a mom gets to kiss her kids goodnight instead of working a late night shift at the hospital.
I don't know how to monetize the face of your kids at Disney for the first time.
I don't know how to monetize waking up from the best sleep of your life, stress free.
But I know that I want to sell that solution all day long.
So let's go.
There's 3 steps to taking your idea and making income.
1. You must have belief.
Belief in your ability, belief in the products you promote, belief that you will deliver, because it's in your DNA.
If you don't believe in what you're doing, no one else will.
How do you create belief?
Journal about your results, your experience, and what kind of life YOU want to create and then go take action.
Action breeds momentum!
And with all that journaling and action comes... STORIES
2. You must have a story.
A story makes your real and relatable. And not just any story.
When people only see the highlight reel of your life,
That you're strong, and happy, and free, you have the best marriage and best kids,
They call bullshit.
When you can tell a story of when you're down and out, when you weren't so happy, or healthy, or free, they can relate.
If you are a serious person, when you tell a funny story, they love you.
I'm not saying act out of character, but push the limits on what you can create and be willing to pull back the curtain and let people in.
People do business with those they know, like, and trust.
3. Have a frame work to teach.
If you want people to listen to you and get to the end of your video, blog, or training, usually where the sale or call to action is,
You have to teach them something.
You have to give them a reason to stay.
And the mind likes to connect the dots and finish.
If I say that I'm going to teach you three steps or three things, after number one and two, you want to hear number three.
Your prospective clients won't stay to the end of a feel good story. They may listen, but they won't REALLY LISTEN.
They may listen while folding laundry, or driving, doing cardio, or on a lunch break,
But you want them with pen and paper in hand, digesting it all.
You want them to take action, so you have to teach.
Where do you go from here?
You need technology, you need to market what you have, and you need to launch,
But none of that can happen if you don't create.
So that's my challenge to you.
If you want to take an idea and make income, take a promise, and make a profit,
You need to do the work today.
This week, this month.
Set a block of time to create.
Include a big promise, your story, a teaching framework, a call to action, and a motivational close.
And then go tell people about it.
Have so much belief in yourself that people would be crazy not to listen.
I believe in you.
So go!
